About
Whiskers arrived in November 2010 as a half-grown stray who walked into the garage during a rainstorm and simply decided she lived there. Nobody argued.
She ran the house for fourteen years with quiet authority: inspecting every grocery bag, claiming every warm surface, and appearing at the kitchen door the instant a can opener made a sound. She was not a lap cat until roughly nine o’clock each evening, when she became a very serious one.
She slipped away peacefully in February 2025, curled in the sunbeam she had been guarding for over a decade.
