Creating a digital memorial is a beautiful way to honor and remember your loved one. This guide will walk you through the simple process of setting up a new memorial, entering basic details, and publishing it for family and friends to see.
Step 1: Sign up and choose a plan
To get started, you'll need a Graceful Remembrance account. Click the Create a Memorial button in the top right corner of your screen. You will be prompted to create an account or log in if you already have one.
Once logged in, you can choose between our Lite (Free) plan or our Plus plan. The Plus plan includes additional features such as unlimited events, a life timeline, and a family tree. For pets, we also offer specific plans tailored to their memory.
Step 2: Enter basic details
After selecting your plan, you will be directed to the memorial setup wizard. Here you will provide:
- The full name of your loved one
- Their dates of birth and passing
- A short introductory sentence or quote
- The location of their primary memorial service (optional)
Step 3: Upload a profile photo
A beautiful profile photo is the centerpiece of the memorial. We recommend using a clear, high-quality image where your loved one's face is easily visible. You can crop and adjust the image directly within our platform.
Step 4: Publish your memorial
Once you are happy with the basic details and photo, click Publish Memorial. Don't worry, you can always go back and edit these details later. Upon publishing, you will receive a unique shareable link that you can send to family and friends so they can begin sharing their own memories, photos, and letters.
